My passion for flavorful and vibrant foods began watching mother, grandmother, and cousins who are all exceptional cooks known for hosting legendary parties. Growing up in a multi-ethnic family meant we enjoyed everything from curry to cauliflower cheese sauce and scones. I learned about culture and flavors from living in four countries and travelling to over twenty-five countries which formed the basis for a professional cooking career after graduating from culinary school. My corporate meeting management experience blended perfectly with love for creating memorable experiences through food, so I launched Blissful Kitchen catering in 2003.
After running a catering and event company for over twelve years, I packed up my chef shoes and returned to the corporate world but my passion for connecting with people, culture, and cooking never left me. I continued to work with select clients for many years. Appreciating global flavors makes the world feel smaller, expands our understanding of people, and how we are all connected. Blissful Kitchen’s ethos has always been to share food, create memories, and celebrate connections. My mission is to build a joyful community of food lovers sharing recipes and learning tips from professional chefs. Technique matters if you are baking a cake from scratch or following a simple recipe and it can absolutely positively transform or ruin the final product.
